Ticket Lesson: Spare Change in Windsor

Every time I go through the fast food drive-thru, I put my spare change in the ashtray. The change pretty much sits there till I empty it at home. Sometimes the change accumulates. So when I parked outside the Pour House, and a homeless person needed change, I gladly gave him all I had with the exception of enough for the parking meter. It was probably about $5 or so. He left and I never saw him again.

The next day, we were looking for another place for a beer and we found nothing. So we went back to the Pour House. But today I had no change left. So we went inside for a quick beer without feeding the meter.  That mistake cost me $15 Canadian for a parking ticket. Gez, I wish I had given the homeless man the $15 and kept the change for the meter.

Lesson Learned: Never give all your coins away in Windsor.

The Pour House has a big selection of draft beers

We had a great time at the Pour House

I highly recommend the Pour House. They had 14 different draft beers including Richard’s, Strongbow, Creemore Springs, Guinness and more. I wrote a review about this place here: Pour House The‎. They are located at 46 Chatham Street West, Windsor, ON N9A 5M6 and here is their phone number: (519) 253-0742‎
